First of all, you should leave your rice starch in salty and warm water for at least 20 minutes. If you have at hand, make your rice from chicken broth. Chicken broth will give your rice a distinct flavour. If you want to boil your chickpeas 1 night before you put in the water and boil in the pressure cooker will save you time. You can also boil your chickpeas in your closet and add them to your rice or soup in no time. After your rice is cooked, you should cover it with a clean cloth or paper towel.
