INGREDIENTS

  • 3 green peppers (After cleaning stalks and seeds, finely chopped)
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 1/2 (half) teaspoon of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • Optional: cheddar cheese is half the size of a small bowl.

Preparation:

Take the oil and pepper to the pan and fry until the color of the peppers turns. Peel the shells and add the small chopped tomatoes. Close the ceiling on the stove and wait until the tomatoes are cooked well. If the tomatoes stick to the pan, you can add a little boiling water. Usually this will not be necessary. You can break the eggs after cooking the tomatoes as in the photo. You can either whisk the eggs in a separate bowl or add them to the pan like me and mix them in the pan. Wait until the eggs are cooked by adding the salt and the spices you wish. If you want to add kashar cheese, you can add cheese at this stage. Serve your menemen hot.
