Frying meat (Et kavurma) Recipe: How to Make Et kavurma?
Sometimes the meat flakes that we cook in the pan don’t make us happy in terms of softness, even though it’s delicious. At this point, it is important to cook by changing the cooking method, that is, to find the right technique. Pressure cooker is one of our biggest helpers in the kitchen. In addition to cooking the dishes with your own steam, it makes cooking quicker and softens foods such as meat and chicken.
Frying meat (Et kavurma) If your kitchen doesn’t have a pressure cooker, you can cook this recipe for 3-4 hours on a very low heat and cook soft meat.
- 750 grams of beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 spoonful butter
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 300 ml of water (1.5 cups)
First, put fried beef cubes in a medium-sized blanket. Turn on the oven and start cooking the meat without adding anything, but with constant stirring. If the color of the meat in the pan changes and the meat drains the water, add some oil. Set the stove on low heat and continue to cook while stirring. While the meat is cooking, peel the onions and the garlic separately. Then cut the onion in four. Put the chopped onions and whole garlic in the pan.
Cook with all ingredients until the meat is juiced again. If the meat runs out of meat before cooking, add about half a cup of boiling water and cook the meat for a while. After the meat is fully cooked and enjoyable, add a little salt, remove the food from the heat and serve.
